Entering the grounds of Vista Olivera, you will notice its sunken setting and natural desert landscaping promotes a true feeling of privacy.

Setting foot on the home’s polished concrete floors, your gaze will immediately be drawn to the wall of glass granting you views of the pool deck and the amazing valley vista beyond. It frames the large living area where the comfortable seating gives you somewhere cozy to watch the large wall mounted TV, enjoy the open fireplace, or just take in the surrounding views.

The neighboring dining area seats 6 at its white tulip style setting, while the adjacent fully-stocked modern kitchen allows you to whip up a storm, or simply mix up a cocktail at the built in bar with 2 separate wine fridges, under the gaze of Sinatra and Elvis hanging on the wall.

Outside allows you to be enveloped in nature while availing yourself of the large pool and sun lounges, ample-sized raised jacuzzi, or rock-framed backyard fire pit. There’s also an outdoor dining setting for 8, plus a large and comfortable conversation area down one end of the pool from which you can relax and take in the unhindered views that surround you.

Closer to this magnificent home itself is a barbecue grill, plus additional conversational seating space.

The South Suite
With direct pool views and access, this master suite at the southern end of the home features a large colorful mural, commissioned from respected local artist Lynda Keeler. You also get to experience a king bed with a luxuriously soft mattress and 100% cotton percale Brooklinen linens, a wall mounted TV and ample walk-in closet space. There’s also a separate vanity with a seat plus a large modern en-suite with a walk-in shower.  

The North Suite
Located at the northern end of the home, this master suite also offers direct pool views and access. Blue hues throughout are complimented by the art above the hotel quality king-sized bed which features 100% cotton percale Brooklinen linens. There’s also a large wall-mounted TV, full-length closet space, and its own substantial ensuite with double vanity, walk-in shower, and large soaking tub.

The West Guest Room
The West Guest Room features a king bed with hotel quality mattress and 100% cotton percale Brooklinen linens that’s framed by super cute dog lamps. There’s also a wall mounted TV and ample closet space, plus close access to the hallway bathroom with its slick white look and walk-in shower.

Guests have full, private access to the single-level home and grounds, including the private pool, hot tub, fenced backyard, patio areas, garage, and EV charger. The home has a private entrance, a Level 2 EV charger in the single-car garage, and free street parking; no more than 3 vehicles may be parked at the home during your stay.

Self check-in is available via smart lock. A face-to-face greeting at check-in is also required within 24 hours of arrival.

The Host with the Most Team can be available for anything you need & will greet you in person within 24 hours of your arrival.

This home is self check-in and setup with everything you need to relax and unwind.

We are available as needed but you will be left to enjoy this space as if it is your own during your stay.

Vista Olivera is located in the Chino Canyon neighborhood of Palm Springs. Beautiful walks and hiking surround, within a short drive of the airport, supermarkets and the Uptown Design District of Palm Canyon Drive with its fabulous selection of restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, and vintage shops easily walk or drive accessible.

Most guests rent a car at the airport or drive to Palm Springs. The garage can easily hold 1 car. Tesla Solar EV charger available for use if needed.

Minutes from downtown by Lyft or Uber, or a leisurely walk, you can be anywhere in Palm Springs without ever having to get in your car. We always recommend renting bikes for at least one day. Our neighborhood is filled with mid century homes and landscapes to explore.

Guest booking this home must be 25 year or older.

Parties and events are not permitted.

This home allows a maximum of 6 adults plus 2 kids 12 and under.

There are strict music, noise, and parking restrictions in Palm Springs and the booking guest will be responsible for any and all fines incurred during their visit. We reserve the right to immediately cancel any guest stay without a refund if any of the rental rules are violated.

No more than 3 vehicles may be parked at this home during your stay.

All activities must be taken inside by 10 pm to comply with the city wide quiet hours ... and to be good neighbors.

A copy of a government issued ID will be required of the booking guest along with signing an additional private rental contract acknowledging the rental guidelines and rules and all adult guest names listed on the contract.

Pool heating is optional at a rate of $95 per night of your visit. Spa heating is included with your reservation and can be heated on demand.

• This home is not child proofed. Cabinets are not secured, there is a pool and hot tub without child locks, and we do have MANY breakable items in the home. We welcome adults who bring well behaved children but we expect them to fully supervise children at all times and do not advertise or guarantee that the home is in any way child safe /child proofed.

• If your reservation start date falls on any holiday listed below, we will plan to handle the fact to face potion of the your check in the following day. Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve & Day, New Years Day, Easter Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, & Labor Day.

•There are noise ordinances here in PS, so NO MUSIC is allowed outside on any device at ANY TIME. In addition, there can be no outdoor noise after 10PM. There is NO MUSIC ALLOWED OUTSIDE. NO music on your phone, bluetooth device - NO MUSIC. If someone reports you to the City of Palm Springs, or the police, you will be responsible for ANY & ALL fines and you can and will be subject to removal from the property with no refund for unused time. The minimum charge is $500 if they are called out and if a complaint is made to our staff, city compliance, or the police, and/or citation is issues you will be asked to leave immediately with NO refund - so PLEASE have fun but bring it inside after 10PM and remember about the music being a NO NO at anytime outdoors - not even inside with doors open so it can be heard outside.

• 12.5% tax has been charged as a “Transient Occupancy Tax” per the City of Palm Springs requirements for any stays under 28 nights.

•Bookings over 28 nights are not subject to TOT tax.

•Housekeeping - mid stay cleanings required for stays over 14 nights a minimum of every 14 days of your stay. Guest will be billed for additional cleanings every 2 weeks and scheduled to meet guest needs. These additional cleanings include a complete linen turnover and amenities refresh. Daily/Weekly cleaning are available if requested with additional fees.

•An outside contract is required by the city of Palm Springs will need to be read and signed prior to your visit. A link will be sent after your reservation is confirmed. The responsible guest on the reservation will also need to provide a photo of their government issued ID as required for short term rentals in the city of Palm Springs and must be present for the stay.

•All guests will need to read and sign the Good Neighbor Form and a face to face greeting at check in is required.

-Surveillance or recording devices on property - Ring cameras at entry points on property (front door and garage) to monitor entrance and noise monitoring device inside main living area and pool area. It does NOT record actual sounds or conversations, it simply monitors the noise level (measured in decibels). NoiseAware is a smart home device that measures decibel levels throughout the property and allows us to respond to noise nuisances without disrupting your stay. NoiseAware is 100% privacy compliant and is required on this property. If you have any questions, please ask.

Failure of Guests to adhere to City regulations will be considered a breach of the rental agreement. Furthermore, Guests recognizes the right of the Co-Host to ask guests to vacate the unit immediately if it becomes necessary without a refund of the rental amount.

•Missing &/or stained LINENS will be charged to the guest at the current rate for replacement. ANY BROKEN OR MISSING ITEMS or DAMAGES TO THE HOME will be charged to the guest accordingly.
